Inside the R-Go Split Break keyboard is an LED light controlled by the R-Go Break Software. This light changes colour, like a traffic light. When the light turns green, it means you are working healthily. Orange indicates it is time for a short break and red indicates you have missed a break. This gives you positive feedback on your break behaviour.

The R-Go Split keyboard consists of 2 separate parts that you can use in any desired position. So you can always type with straight wrists and prevent oppressing tendons and blood vessels. This ergonomic split keyboard can be turned into a compact keyboard with 1 move using the built-in magnet.

The Split keyboard is ultra-thin, so you don’t strain and oppress the blood vessels and tendons in your wrists while typing. The special scissor mechanism in the keys ensures a light keystroke, so less strenght is needed to press the keys. As a result, the fingers are more relaxed while typing.

Description

The R-Go Split Break keyboard is an ergonomic split keyboard with integrated break software. This keyboard stimulates you to take regular breaks. This keeps your body’s blood flowing, prevents strain and keeps you fit during your working day. The keyboard consists of two separate parts, which you can place in any set-up you desire. This splitting prevents flexing of the wrists while typing. Typing with straight wrists reduces muscle tension and prevents oppressing of tendons and blood vessels. The built-in magnet allows you to turn the two separate parts of the keyboard into a compact keyboard with just one movement. The compact size ensures that the mouse is always within reach. The light keystroke means minimal muscle tension is present while typing. The keyboard is flat, keeping your hands and wrists flat and relaxed while typing. LED colour signals in the keyboard indicate how healthy you are working and when it is time for a break. As you type, the light changes colour, like a traffic light. Green means that you are working healthily, orange means that it is time for a break, red that you have been working too long. Through these subtle colour signals, you receive feedback on your break behaviour in a simple and positive way. This product works together with the R-Go Break Software that won the Benelux Office Product Award 2021.

Do I need to swap the primary and secondary mouse buttons if I want to use the mouse with my other hand?

No, that is not necessary. The buttons are automatically swapped when you tilt the mouse.

How can I support my little finger when using the mouse?

Press the little finger rest towards the side of the mouse where your little finger is positioned.

How do you switch from Bluetooth to dongle mode?

Step 1 Search for “Bluetooth” on your PC/laptop.

Step 2 Remove “R-Go Waver” from the device list.

Step 3 Hold the Bluetooth dongle 10 close to your mouse and press and hold the pairing button 10 for more than 3 seconds. A blue light on the underside of the mouse will start to flash.

Step 4 Plug the Bluetooth dongle 10 into a free USB-A port on your PC/laptop. Your mouse will now automatically reconnect to your PC/laptop.

Is it suitable for different hand sizes?

In a broader sense, yes: it was developed according to the ‘one size fits (almost) all’ principle, so it is designed for an average size. The Waver is intended to fit as many people as possible in specific work situations. The thumb and little finger rests also play an important role in this.

What is the difference between the R-Go Waver and the R-Go Twister?

The Twister differs from the Waver in that it offers more features than the Waver. In particular, the Twister can be folded up for transport, whereas the Waver cannot. In this sense, the Waver is a simpler and more cost-effective model with (consequently) a wider range of applications. The Twister is an ambidextrous mouse designed primarily for a single, fixed user at various locations. The Waver is an ambidextrous mouse designed for simple and healthy use by multiple, alternating users at a single, fixed location. Of course, a Twister can also be used in exactly the same way as a Waver. And conversely, the Waver can also encourage you to switch between your dominant hand and the other! So it all depends on exactly HOW you wish to use the Waver.
